So 2014 got really interesting. The Ferguson Insurrection continues to burn and stay barely below the surface, global unrest is boiling against a backdrop of resource wars and back room battles. Repression is a constant and increasingly integrated aspect of our daily lives as more and more of us sadly pour into the wireless machine.
So 2015 is about stepping up. And Black and Green Press is stepping up hard.
I must apologize at first about being a bit overzealous in my time constraints for getting Roots: A Field Guide to Anarcho-Primitivism done far too quickly last fall. It is still underway, but is press bound in the near future.
Before that the exciting Black and Green Review no 1 will very, very quickly be press bound. More info to come on that very soon, but it's book format and intended to light a fire under the discussions and really push the anti-civilization critique in many directions, but also primarily off-line or, at the very least, off social media.
The inaugural Black and Green Podcast is imminent. More on that soon.
There are a lot of ideas going on, but if I've learned anything over the years, it's not to overstate until something is ready to roll out. And there's a lot to roll out this year.
More to come. Be certain of it.
And a huge fucking nod to Eric McDavid on finally getting out from behind bars and back in action almost immediately. His ludicrous sentence for what amounts to an assault on earth liberation sentiments has been thrown out after the glaring entrapment case could no longer be hidden.
Fuck them for everything and for the 9 years behind bars that Eric won't be getting back. FTP.
Sacramento Prisoner Support is still handling Eric's public face while he makes the difficult adjustment to life on the outside.
